AND WHO IS ROXY?

With her father from the backstreets of Bucharest, and her mother often seen in the high society pages in Paris, it’s hard to define our Roxy. She dreamt of a life on the stage and as such she left the glamour of Paris and went straight to the mystical city of Bangkok. It was on the vaudeville circuit she met her corrupter and lover, Jimmy “The Swindler” Hawkins, who promptly proposed and whisked Roxy to Melbourne. Unfortunately for our Roxy, swindling Jimmy wasn’t quite the big cheese he’d made himself out to be. On the upside, he did own a rundown mechanic workshop - the perfect location for Roxy to host her big parties, which went well into the early hours of the morning. A year into their tumultuous marriage, Jimmy suddenly disappeared without a trace. Rumours swirled that Jimmy had a run-in with biggest mobster in town, but Roxy is no snitch, so it will forever remain a mystery. Luckily for us Roxy took over the workshop, and with a little bit of sass and a lot of pizazz, she turned this bleak back-alley establishment into the best juice joint around. She now entertains Melbourne’s elite, but can also cut a rug with the most unsavoury folk. Just remember when she’s good she’s very good, and when she’s bad she’s even better!
